It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Jay Nelson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell E. Sr. Ellen and Mary Ellen; and his brothers, Kenneth G. DeHonney, Jr., Russell E. Nelson, Jr. and Richard E. DeHonney, Sr..
He is survived by: his brother Charles E. Nelson (Pamela); his sisters-in-law, Donna Nelson (Russell E. Jr.) and Iva Kelly (Kenneth); and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly DeHonney Wilson, Crystal Marie Lawson, Richard E. DeHonney, Jr., Joshua DeHonney, Eric C. Nelson and Stephen N. Nelson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the House of Law (2555 Haymaker Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146).
