We bid farewell to Mildred Fisher (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Mildred touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Mildred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mildred farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Fisher; her parents, Margaret Fujer and Stephen Fujer; and her sisters, Judy and Betty Lou.
She is survived by: her children, James (Debbie), Elizabeth Streno and Susan Sherman (Clifford). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
