She was predeceased by: her husband Louis A. Cappello; her daughter Jacqueline Cappello; her grandson Christopher Cappello; her sister Doris Pistole (Richard); and her parents, Charles F. Appel and Lillian Appel (Gibbs).

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory (Carol), Jeffrey (Karen), Daniel, David (Cathi) and Mark; her grandchildren, Anthony (Courtney), Dillion, Amanda Ratkovic, Paige Hoover and Robert Hoover; her great grandchildren, Lia, Evie, Alex, Anna, Vincent, Joseph and Owen; and her brother Charles F. Appel Jr. (Loretta).
