It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Osborne Smith of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Bronxville, New York, who passed away on March 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her sister Anne O. Swain; and her husband Wallace W. Smith, Jr. of Fox Chapel. She is survived by : her children, Anne B. Hulley of Northampton, MA, Emily B. Naunheim of O'Fallon, IL and Robert L. Becker III; her stepchildren, Pamela Stodolsky, Wallace W. Smith III (Ladan), Sarah Smith (Robert Davidson) and Steuart Smith (Dana); her grandchildren, Nathan Hulley, Emily Hulley Keating, Elizabeth Hulley Sukhovskaya, Timothy Hulley, James Hulley, Anastasia Hulley Sandoval, Mariya Hulley and Margaret Naunheim Grubb; and her sons-in-law, David A. Hulley and David E. Abrams. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (215 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Merwin Conservancy on Maui, Literacy Pittsburgh, or the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.
