He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton H Ayres and Mary Ayres (Wall) of Avalon, PA; and his siblings, Pat Ference, Kathryn Flaherty (Mickie), Nancy McAllister, Jim Ayres and Joseph Ayres (Mike).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Geary Ayres (Crooks); his children, John Ayres (Rebe), Michelle Geary Rua (Rob Decker), Rebecca Dougherty (Ted) and William Ayres (Shavonne); his grandson Joseph Rua (Joslynn); his children, Alyssa McKinney (Rob), Casey Rua (Kyler Miller), Patrisha Ayres, Nick Ayres (Hannah Minor) and Miya Billings (Tyler Croft); his great grandchildren, Landen and Laila Rua; and his sisters, Joan Grady (Jack) and Beth Ayres. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
