It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Lynn Faas (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Paul may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor (Kaminski) and John Faas (Jack); and his siblings, Dorothy Antonucci and Jack Faas. He is survived by: his wife Amy Faas; his children, Jenna Schmidt (Christopher) and Regis Faas (Ashley); his grandchildren, Clayton Schmidt, Jameson Faas and Beckham Faas; and his sister Kathleen Matthews (Henry).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Ltd. (930 Center Ave, Blawnox, PA 15238). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Edward Church (450 Walnut St, Blawnox, PA 15238).
