He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen "Candy"; his parents, Paul and Magdalena; and his siblings, James and Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia and Thomas Welsh (Becky) of Bethel Park; his brothers, Robert (Kathleen) and William; and his brother-in-law Glenn Pfeil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren.
