He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Mary; and his siblings, Charles Rush and Donna Ross. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rush; his children, Paul A. Rush (Jeannette) and Cynthia Prilla; his grandchildren, Michael Rush (Stormie), Jennifer Schaffnit (Yvain), Hunter Prilla, Mackenzie Prilla and James Mros; his great grandchildren, Sienna, Alek, Grant and Jayden; his brother Edward Gleason (Cheryle); and his niece Tammy Lollo (Tony).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. (2323 E Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203). A prayer was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
