In loving memory of Paula P. Gerstenberger of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on July 11, 2025 at the age of 97. Paula leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband H. Leigh Gerstenberger, Jr.; her daughter Ann Gerstenberger; her parents, John Periale and Gertrude Periale; and her brothers, John and Joseph Periale.
She is survived by: her sons, Leigh Gerstenberger (Mim) of Wexford, PA and Peter Gerstenberger (Kellyn) of Cocoa Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Robert Gerstenberger (Genna) and Kathryn Richardson of Wexford, PA; her great grandchildren, Isla of Wexford, PA, Gisele of Wexford, PA and Ivo Richardson of Wexford, PA; her grandchildren, Emory of Wexford, PA, Luca of Wexford, PA and Beau Gerstenberger of Wexford, PA; and her brother James Periale of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Orchard Hill Church (2551 Brandt School Rd, Wexford, PA 15090).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Nursery School, 1066 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228.
