We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Peter Ferguson Swarr of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Harold M Swarr and Nancy L Swarr; his grandmothers, Phyllis Ferguson and Evelyn Swarr; and his siblings, Timothy (Nayanika), Josiah, Hannah, John Harold, Sarah, Jason and Andrew Swarr. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a good friend of my son, Christian Umbach, and he and I started and kept up a postcard correspondence that meant a lot to me. I found Peter, in person and in his cards and letters, to be a very special person: intelligent, thoughtful, and funny -- often seeing things in art and life that others do not see. He left a huge impression on me and my family -- we send all prayers and our deepest sympathies.”
