We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2023, at the age of 86, Philip B. Gefsky (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rae Gefsky and Meyer B. "Buck" Gefsky. He is survived by: his wife Sondra Gefsky; his children, Adam Gefsky and Lisa Gefsky Looman (Jason); his grandsons, Jacob and Nathan Looman; and his sisters, Frances Gefsky Rice, Anatilie Gefsky Seewald and Sorlee Gefsky Chetlin (Martin). He is also survived by his family and friends.

During the Pandemic he and I walked together for exercise and I was amazed at his energy and enthusiasm for life during that challenging time.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution fund has been established to honor Phil's memory.
