With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philomena E. McCourt (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James F. McCourt; her parents, Salvatore Timpani and Adalina Timpani; and her siblings, Frank Timpani, Julie MacDonald, Bill Timpani, Angel Thomas, Jenny Obringer, Dorothy Vogel, Gemma Timpani and Shirley Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy M. Proya (Tom), James T. McCourt (Anne), Kevin M. McCourt (Janet), Amy A. Muto (Michael), Beth A. Costello (Paul) and Cara A. Grebinoski (James); her grandchildren, Steven Proya, Katherine, Lucy, Jack McCourt, Ashley Draxinger (Rocko), Paul Muto, PJ, Mena Costello, Samuel, Aidan and Ryan Grebinoski; and her great grandchild Mason. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
