With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Marcus Tauberg (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman B. Tauberg; and her brother Murray Marcus. She is survived by: her sons, Stuart Tauberg (Beth) and James Tauberg; her sisters-in-law, Rita Tauberg, Shirley Blau and Roberta Tepper; her grandchildren, Alex Tauberg (Holly Donovan) and Mindy Tauberg (Scott Hollingsworth); her great grandchild River Hollingsworth; and her caregivers, Laurie Vaughn, Shonte Hinton, Keisha Smith and Ashaki Rattliff. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ralph Schugar Chapel (5509 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15232). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
