He was predeceased by: his parents, Jai Dev Lal Nangia and Parvati Devi Nangia; and his brothers, Ramesh Nangia, Krishan Nangia and Bhimsen Nangia.
He is survived by: his children, Anita Dressel (Markus) of Pennsylvania, Monica St. Jacques of Virginia and Roger Nangia (Pooja) of Pennsylvania; his granddaughters, Elena Dressel, Angelina Dressel and Olivia Dressel; his sister Uma Madan; his former wife Sushma Nangia of New Jersey; and his sisters-in-law, Rekha Nangia, Chander Nangia and Kiran Nangia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
