He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Vensel (Foley); and his parents, Glenn Vensel and Helen Vensel. He is survived by: his daughter Rebecca Sopata (Daniel); his grandchildren, Julian and Carter; his brother David Vensel (late Doreen); and his siblings-in-law, Judith Druga (Ronald) and Paul Foley.
