He is survived by: his wife Ethel Tinsley Collins; his children, Beth Collins Himes (Steve), Jeanne Ann Collins (Matt Valenti) and William Hittner Collins (Tammy); his grandchildren, Grant, Chad Collins Himes, Tinsley, Luke Valenti, Tyler, Bennett and Paige Collins; and his siblings, Rev. Gary Collins (Denise) and Nancy Sheahan (Mike).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (2040 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241).
