He was predeceased by: his sister Virginia Yung (Charles). He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughter Rachel Ekstrom Courage; his son-in-law Nick Courage; and his siblings, David Ekstrom of Pittsfield, MA and Darlene Raeppold (Rainer) of Lakewood, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (4900 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (315 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
