He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dering and Jeraldine Dering Harris; his sibling Jean Dering; his parents-in-law, Robert and Evelyn Huber; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy and Ken Huber (Jan).
He is survived by: his wife Karen A. Dering (Huber); his children, Carrie Zinger (Steven) and Robert Dering (Christina); his grandchildren, Macie Zinger and Jace Dering; his siblings, Robert Dering (Kevin), Jerry Dering (Amy), George Dering, Rachel Boory (Fred) and Ruth Dering; and his sisters-in-law, Roberta Rodger (Chuck) and Janet Anesin (late Rick).
