He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Linnert and Emma G. Linnert; and his brothers, James Linnert and Walter Linnert. He is survived by: his children, Mei, Miller, Godinez, Matthew Linnert and Jennifer Parker; his sister Linda Hatfield; his niece Lori Shudy (Eric); and his nephew Kevin Linnert (Erica). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the animal shelter of one's choice.
