It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Porta of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and William; and his siblings, Regis, Paul, Bill, Francis and Mary.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Snyder, Dawn Igims (Jim) and Bonnie Shontz (Bob); his brother Bob; and his grandchildren, Christi, Richie of Elizabeth, RJ, Corrinne and Carly. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
