We announce the death of Richard W. Theobald (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 94. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Theobald (Dawn Webb), Glenn Theobald (Kenwyn), Laura Schaltenbrand (Mark Walters) and Linda Smay (Joseph); his grandchildren, Heidi Moeller (Joey), Erika Homapoor (Amir), Troy Schaltenbrand (Celeste), Greta Schaltenbrand, Lindsey Adams (Nicholas), Kiersten Smay (Chad Townsend), Karyn Smith (John), Lauren Kennihan (Mike Pacolay), Kimble Webb (Becca) and Luke Webb; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Daphne, Violet Smith, Jonah Kennihan, Jackson, Lily and Mathew Moeller.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. P Brandt Funeral Home (1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to The Shriners.
