The family announces the passing of Rita G. (Patchan) Hirschfield (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) on June 11, 2026. Rita, born on May 3, 1950, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Rita will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Rita by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Rita is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Rita’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Patchan and Mary Patchan; her husband Ronald Hirschfield; and her sisters, Margaret Balash, E. Louise McVaney and Agnes Patchan.
She is survived by: her sisters, Virginia Kraus (late George) and Gloria Flannery (Joseph). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
