He is survived by: his son Bruce; his children-in-law, Kathy Downing and David Fagan; his grandchildren, Sean, Katy Fagan, Kelsey, Jeremy Kelly, Brock and Brenna Downing; his great grandchild Elliott Fagan; and his sister-in-law Bobbie Downing of Pittsburgh.
As a tribute to Bob's creative personality and following the tradition put in motion upon Ann's death, the family suggests a "Pay It Forward"/Random Act of Kindness honor: Pick-up a stranger's restaurant or bar tab, offer to take a group photo with some unknown family's phone so they can all be in the picture, leave a lottery ticket as part of a nice tip, or donate to or adopt from your local animal shelter, etc.
