It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gavel Sr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Gavel and Mary Gavel; and his siblings, Andrew, Jr., Mary Ann Kensinger and Patricia Egyud.

He is survived by: his wife Judith Gavel; his son Robert Gavel, Jr. (Tiffany); his granddaughters, Stella and Lola; and his sisters, Joan, Love and Roberta Gavel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
