He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Barry Lancaster and Catherine Floie Leightley; and his siblings, Louise Carden, Edwin Lee Lancaster, Emily L Hakos, William F Lancaster and Charles H Lancaster.
He is survived by: his wife Sonja Hail Lancaster; his sons, David R (Leslie) and Todd H (Caroline); and his grandchildren, Nathan, Madysen and Ryan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Linn Funeral Home (529 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
