He was predeceased by: his spouse Frommie Harris Whitman; his parents, William H. Whitman and Jenny Whitman (Goldman); his son Steven (Annetta); and his siblings, Audrey Lederman of Florida and Lloyd Whitman (Shirley) of Pittsburgh.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Debbie) and Jill; and his sister Barbb Grand (Larry) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
