He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Houck and Nancy Houck (Randal); and his brother Joey. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Zipfel); his sons, William (Bree) and Michael (Brianna); and also, Debbie Golle (Tom), Diane Diebold (Richard) and Richard Houck (Danielle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests a donation to Animal Friends in Pittsburgh, Humane Animal Rescue Pittsburgh or Washington Area Humane Society.
