“I met Ron in 1989. He was a staple at my restaurant, Peppis., and so much more than that. He became a friend. Ron became part of our team. You worried when he didn’t show up. He held court in the corner of the restaurant, doing his paperwork, finishing the day. It morphed into golf, which Ron learned to love. Countless weekends, meeting him at the course, picking him up at the house, being cart mates. All treasured memories. I will miss you my brother…”
