She was predeceased by: her parents, Daisy Bell Snow Dickens and Lincoln Dickens (George LeRoy Allen); her son Anthony Allen; and her siblings, Lincoln Dickens Jr., Frank Dickens, Daisy Ruth Dickens and Eugene "Dinky" Dickens.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mildred Griggs (Paul) of Norfolk, VA and James Dickens of Norfolk, VA; her children, Cynthia AllenRussell (Bel Air, MD) and Jeffrey Allen of Boston, MA; and her grandchildren, Dawndra Allen, LaRee Featherstone, Omari Russell, Nailah Russell and Evelyn Black. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of many friends.
