It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Gibson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Gibson; her sons, Dennis and Raymond Gibson; and her sibling Red Small. She is survived by: her children, Karen Gillen (Bobby Joe), Thomas "Hoot" Gibson (Diane), Gloria Pegher (late Michael) and Arlene Schmeltz (Wes); her daughters-in-law, Mary and Donna Gibson; her brother-in-law Jim Quillen; and her siblings, Bill Small, Jeanne Quillen and Marty Small. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
