With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth L. McLaughlin (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania). Ruth, born on June 21, 1928 in Avella, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. McLaughlin; her parents, Nicholas Ertle and Jean Ertle; her brother Walter; her sister-in-law June Ertle; her sister Kathleen; her brother-in-law Duke Wyman; her son-in-law William Rynkiewicz; her grandson Billy Rynkiewicz; and her pet Tiberius.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Rynkiewicz (Bill), Carole Christian, Michael McLaughlin (Danae), Tim McLaughlin (Dawna) and Lisa McLaughlin; her grandchildren, David Rykiewicz (Lynne), Dan Rynkiewicz (Judy), Tammy Khaleque (Tareque), Lori Rieger (John), Heather Bhowmik (Susanta), Bob Christian, Amorema Simpson, Taryn McLaughlin-Holmes (Danny), Amanda Oberstoetter (Mark) and Taylor Wilson (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Eli, Sophia, Sebastian, Shane, Alexa, John III, Ross, Troy, Amber, Lauren, Grace, Robert Jr., Maddie, Luke, Ada and June.
