She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas M. Murtha; her parents, Andrew A. Halterlein and Martha Halterlein (Teckmeyer); and her sister Kathryn Park. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Murtha M. D. (Kimberly), Karen James (Brooke David) and Daniel Murtha (Maria Sheridan); her grandchildren, Andrew Murtha Ph, Robert Murtha, Rachel James and Natalie James; her sister Mary Ellen Halterlein; her brother-in-law David W. Park; and her nephew Brad Park. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A prayer was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish (5200 Greenridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
