We announce the death of Sally Eisenstat Lebowitz in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 91. Sally will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Eisenstat and Dora Eisenstat; her husband Milton Lebowitz; her sister Barbara; and her brother-in-law Martin Yalisove.
She is survived by: her sons, David Lebowitz (Audrey) and Larry Lebowitz (Lynn); her grandchildren, Leah (Jon), Daniel (Valery), Jake, Amy (Michael), Alyssa and Ben; and her sister Ruthie Weinstein (Sheldon). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Temple Emanuel of South Hills (1250 Bower Hill Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15243). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Sally has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Temple Emanuel of South Hills, 1250 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.
