It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Harper Core Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Core Sr. and Ruth Core (Repine); his sister Patricia Keefe; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Core and Sean Tracey.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Core (Kane); his children, Doug Core, Ron Core (Karen), Sheryl Miller (Russ) and Linda Tracey (John); and his grandchildren, Greg Core, Steven Core, Jenna Miller, Hannah Miller, Samuel Tracey, Lauren Ricci and Matthew Ricci. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
