It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Saverio Caruso (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Caruso and Rosa Caruso; and his siblings, Giuseppina Gatuso, Tommaso, Luigi and Angelina.
He is survived by: his spouse Giovannina "Joanne" Caruso (Paola); his daughters, Angela Le Donne (Bob) and Silvia Braidic (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sierra Le Donne, Mitchell Braidic and Rachel Braidic; and his siblings, Mario Caruso (Maria) and Anna Mannella (late Mario). He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brusco-Napier Funeral Service, Ltd. (2201 Bensonia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (1901 Broadway Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). An entombment was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery (718 Hazelwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217).
