He was predeceased by: his stepfather Robert Sobczak. He is survived by: his mother Diane Mason Sobczak; his brothers, Thomas Mason (Patricia) of Phoenix, AZ and Ricci Mason of Marrietta, GA; his half-sisters, Jackie Lengyel (Brian) and Jamie Fritz (Greg); his uncle Dennis Brain; his aunt Judy Bannon (Richard); his siblings' children, Christopher Mason (Amber), Adam Mason (Hannah), Gina, Elizabeth and Bonnie Mason; his great-nieces, Charlie and Madaline Mason; and his friends, Matt and Melissa Scheller.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Cribs for Kids at 5450 Second Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.
