He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret C. Kubit (McLaughlin); his siblings, Walter Kubit and Dolores Wisniewski (Dolly); his parents, Stanley Anthony and Laura Kubit (Lewandowski); and his great grandchild Joshua.

He is survived by: his children, Patricia Stanton (David), Sharon Liberto (late Leo), Eileen Witt (Donald), Mark Kubit (Amy) and Joan Klages (late Earl); his grandchildren, Megan Grefenstette (Gerard), Erin Huwalt (Scott), Stephanie Hebrank (Tim), Sara Liberto, Jennifer Foust (Ryan) and Ryan Witt; and his great grandchildren, Maura, Zachary, Daniel, Emma and Luke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
