He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory E. Morris and Argiro Morris; his wife Eleni Morris (Geris); and his brother George F.. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Karakitsios (Steve) of Denver, CO and Greg Morris of Pittsburgh; his siblings, Michael F., Thomas F., Chris F. Morris and Mary Yerazunis; and his grandchildren, Konstantine Morris Karakisios (Emma), Katerina Eleni Karakitsios, Steven Henry Morris and Lucia Eleni Morris.

“Mr. Morris hired me at Peebles Elementary. At the interview he had me take off my tie and then we both were on hands and knees looking over some butcher paper examples of lessons I had brought. He was the kind of real educator that recognized that learning is learning whether it be propping up the hoods of the teachers' cars in the parking lot, or propping open basal readers. I benefitted greatly by knowing him. You have my condolences. Brian Pendergast”
