It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen E. Hairston Sr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elwood Hairston and Ethel Hairston (Barva). He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Hairston, Jr. (Lonnie), Eric Hairston Sr. (Kisha) and Michael Hairston; his siblings, Eleanor Hairston, Peter Hairston and James Hairston (Barbara); his grandchildren, Alita, Stephen A., Tyre, Layla, Kaylee, Myla, Shari, Millie, Eric Jr. and Elwood; his stepgrandson Dylan Wissinger; and his great grandchildren, Devon, Carlotto, Jaya, James and Sophia.
