She was predeceased by: her husbands, Earl Schuster and John Podlogar; her parents, Russell Pifer and Virginia Pifer; and her siblings, Hayes, Lone and Ruth.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Lex (Karl), Len Schuster (Joni), Bev Franze (Steve), Becky Meehan (Matt) and Roberta Dorfman (Elliot); and her siblings, Calvin Pifer and Vivian Venturino. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, with one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. P. Brandt Funeral Home (1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, PA 15237). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church.
