It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia N. Macri of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Sylvia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sylvia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bovo and Betty Bovo; her husband John B. Macri, Jr.; her sister Jamesa Presnar; her brother-in-law Stanley Presnar; and her brother Dominic Bovo.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda; her granddaughter Giovanna; her siblings, Marc Bovo (Renee) of New Castle, Michele Bovo of New Castle and Dr. MaryJane Bovo of Middlesex; and her sister-in-law Nancy Palmer of West Pittsburgh. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
