Johnny Johnson wrote a sympathy message

“The Youth Department of the Vermont Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction COGIC, express our love and sympathy to Deacon Ogden, the family, the Pentecostal Temple COGIC church family, and friends, for the loss of our dear Mother, District Missionary Sylvia Ogden. She demonstrated her love to the Youth Department by imparting wisdom to us, taking pride in us, and by giving us her best when the opportunity presented. Mother Ogden, truly blessed, touched and inspired us. We recall her inspiring words and testimony given to the youth and parents during the 2017 Youth Explosion at Pentecostal Temple. She encouraged the youth to love, respect, and believe in themselves no matter what. She reminded the youth that GOD loved them and would see them through any situation! She advised the parents to encourage all of the young people, not just their own. She went on to express to the parents that they should never give up on their children. Because as long as there is breath in their body and GOD IS ALIVE - THERE IS HOPE! She further encouraged them to keep believing and praying until something happened! Mother Ogden will never be forgotten. We truly loved and appreciated her. She will be greatly missed. Elder Johnny Johnson VEJ Youth Department President”
