He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Walter Matuszak and Rosina Matuszak; his wife Bernadette Kojtek Matuszak; and his siblings, Ann Thomson (Joseph), Elaine Rodgers (late Wayne), Christine George (Larry), Dennis Matuszak (Regina), Joan Christian (late Ed), Maureen Richards, Walter Matuszak (Alice), Bernard Matuszak (Kimberly), Rosmary Bradley (Michael) and Elizabeth Zaharko (Richard). He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many loving extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cieslak Tatko Funeral Home (2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
