It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thaddeus S. Rugiel (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Rugiel; his son Thaddeus J. Rugiel; his grandson Christopher Custer; and his siblings, Lillian Sarama, Adele Schubert and Leonard Rugiel.

He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Rugiel; his granddaughter Katherine Rugiel; his great grandchild Christopher Flynn; and his sister Dolores Vodzak.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul of the Cross Monastery, 148 Monastery St. Pittsburgh, PA. 15203.
