Thomas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Thomas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Thomas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maryann Barnes (Sovyak) and Harry Barnes; his uncle John Sovyak; his aunt Catherine "Aunt Kate" Kalinyak; and his close friends, Frankie Copeland and Billy Becker.
He is survived by: his sister Sandy Barnes Rook; his brother-in-law Jeff Rook; and his nephew Corey Rook (Alysha).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home Run Harry's Sports Bar (87 W Station Square Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15219).
