He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Rhody and James Rhody; and his siblings, Phil Rhody and Anne Lendl. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Cavalier Rhody; his children, Kathy Scrabis (Dan), Michael Rhody (Amy) and Susan Rhody; his grandchildren, Maura, Olivia, Nathan, Maggie, Ellie and Abbie; and his sister Mary Lou Kaminski.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care (5405 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136). The military honors was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
