Timothy Rooney Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Rooney and Anne Rooney; and his siblings, Anne Martone and James Rooney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Michael (Katie) of Middletown, NJ and Sarah Breslin (John) of Point Breeze; his grandchildren, James, Patrick, Sean, Caroline, Owen and Charlie; and his siblings, Eileen Stewart, Mary Margaret Coyne, Kathleen Rooney Sokolowski and Thomas Rooney of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by his family, including much cherished siblings, nieces, and nephews, Tim loved to be with his family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John A. Freyvogel Sons, Inc. (4900 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Of St. Mary Magdalene Parish.
