“I worked with Toni for years. She was always very professional, very ethical, and very personable. Sometimes we would walk together at lunchtime. I admire what she did in the time period that she did it. For her to go to college at a time in history when not only did women not go but black women almost certainly did not go. And I always told her that. She told me her father was an influence in her decision to go. I always admired her.”
