“In loving memory of Tyrone Ward, Condolences to the family. Tyrone was one of the most loving, scholarly and universal persons i've met. A true brother. We worked together on a Creative Arts Committee in 1975, where he was head of the music department teaching jazz history. Later hosting a show on WYEP. Degreed in religious science, optometry, and library science he would serve the PGH area well as head of libraries in Homestead and Penn Hills. Will miss our good times. shared. May God Bless”

He was kind and giving as the Executive Director of the Penn Hills Library whenever information was needed by me. He never failed! Mr Ward was always willing to resolve a problem if he could.
