“Vance and I met at MVCC and we became very close friends immediately! He has a spirit that was impossible not to love. One of the kindest men I've known. I regret losing touch after I got married, but am thankful for the memories we have together. I am truly sorry for the loss of a great person and sending prayers for his family. I hope to make it to the memorial in cny whenever that may be. May the angels lead him to paradise and may perpetual light shine upon him. RIP Vance, you will be missed”

“I worked briefly with Vance, and virtually; from another state. Although we never met in person, during the few zoom team calls we had, his charisma and kindness was felt immensely through the phone. I reread our past work messages. “I loved Vance. He was the light in every room he stepped foot in & the one that always checked in on you. I can hear him now asking "What's good Ams"? We used to play record after record & stay up till the wee hours of the morning discussing life, goals, & the future. He was proud of me when I started my new business & was the hype man at my branding shoot. When asked to sit in photos, he fussed that he needed better clothes but did it because I know he loved me too.”
